Independent lubricant intelligence · Established 2009

A professional community built for a complex industry.

The Lubricant Specialists connects experience across lubricants, base oils and additives—helping industry professionals see the whole value chain, exchange practical knowledge and make better-informed decisions.

From a LinkedIn group to a global professional platform.

The Lubricant Specialists community was founded in 2009 with a simple idea: the industry becomes stronger when technical, commercial and operational professionals can learn from one another.

As of April 2026, the LinkedIn group connects more than 36,500 professionals across the lubricants value chain—including formulators, base oil specialists, additive suppliers, blenders, traders, marketers, OEM stakeholders, procurement leaders and senior management.

This website is the next step in that mission: a focused home for credible perspective, informed discussion and professional collaboration.

Independent—and accountable.

The platform is founded and operated by Bhupinder Singh from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. His industry career is separate from the editorial capacity in which this website speaks.
